Icelandic AI has helped me make more progress learning Icelandic than any other tool or approach I’ve used. It fills a critical gap among what’s currently available. Some of what I’ve used in the past is quite good, but as an English teacher, it is clear to me that Sandra is making intentional instructional choices that gradually build reading, speaking, and listening skills. My communication skills have already greatly improved. And with no union funding, I have paid for the full price for the courses myself, but they have been completely worth it, and I will definitely buy the other courses as they release.

 I learned more with just a few lessons here, than at Course 1 in school. I go at own my tempo when I have time. It’s explained, no jumping between topics. Lessons just make sense! And you are not left wondering, why words suddenly have 10 more letters.

I’ve been to many in-person courses before, but the lack of consistency was a problem. I really enjoyed the ability to follow this course at my own pace and when I had the time to spare. It’s really engaging and easy to go through with a lot of quizzes cleverly used to break up complex grammar. The mixture of lessons and practice is a great balance, and the fact I could practice my pronunciation was very impressive. I will definitely be taking the next level!

I really liked the structure and pace of this course. Sandra has a unique way of explaining grammar rules that made it so much easier to learn than the classrooms. It’s really awesome to track my personal learning stats throughout, and see my progression through all the quizzes, flashcards, as well as the listening and speaking, in particular. The assessment at the end with a score and certificate was a great touch.

I was really intrigued to test this out but skeptical reading ‘ai’ in the brand name. I was completely wrong, the courses are led by Sandra in a really visually stimulating way, with lots of depth, a storyline with Monika and Ásgeir (very relatable), and so many exercises and practices to complete. The variety was fantastic, and I’m so impressed by the tools they’ve built as well as the simplicity to navigate around the platform. Very clean, comprehensive, and great quality. It’s clearly been built for learners in mind.
